Civit is nominated to Best Film for Television with “Plastic Sea” by Silvia Munt and director of photography Antonio Calvache.
Josep M. Civit has received the PRISMA AEC 2012 Best Cinematography Award for the TV mini-series “We Shall Return” directed by Felip Solé. This award is given by all AEC (Directors of Photography Asociation) members.

Born in Palma de Mallorca. In 1986 she moves to England where she resides until 1993 working as flight attendant for British Airways.
In 1993 she returns to Spain and starts working with the Formula 1 Gran Prix organisation. In 1994 she joins the Mariscal Studio as head of Press and Communication. She coordinates and manages Javier Mariscal’s exhibits and oversees productions for cinema and commercials, which are filmed at Palo Alto, the studio’s headquarters. She also oversees and produces events designed by Mariscal like the AGI (Alliance Graphique International), International Congress, the international press presentation of the Smart Car for Mercedes Benz AG or the inauguration of the Renault Design Centre in Barcelona amongst others.
In 2000, Blanca embarks on her first personal project and decides to go to Los Angeles where she does an internship at the RIA Images Agency. She returns to Barcelona to set up PLAN B to rep directors of photography, becoming one of first DOP agencies in Spain
PLAN B represents directors of photography from Spain, Germany, Mexico, and USA and has worked for productions around the globe, both in advertising as well as cinema.
Many of the directors of photography at PLAN B have been awarded for their cinematography in films like Pan’s Labyrinth which won an Oscar, Goya, BAFTA and Camerimage in 1997; Eva which a Gaudi Award in 2012, Black Bread a Goya and Gaudi Award in 2011, The Frost a Gaudi in 2010, Silent Light an Ariel Award in 2007, La Distancia a cinematography award at the Guadalajara Festival in 2007, Cross Bronx was awarded at the Tribeca Festival in 2004, Excuses a Barcelona Award in 2004 and many other films in which our DOPs have received recognition and prizes at festivals around the world. Alèxia is born in Barcelona. She studied the Superior Grade of Cinema and Audiovisuals in ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisuals School of Catalunya, Barcelona). Alèxia graduated in direction in 2010. One of her first jobs was assistant director for the film Puzzled Love, a feature film carried on by the ESCAC promotion in the year 2010.
In February 2011, Alèxia start to work in PLAN B as responsable of the postproduction department and coordination.
Since then, she combines her job in PLAN B with shootings in films and commercials in production and direction departments. Her last work has been in La Muerte en la Alcarria as Production Manager, film that still in postproduction.
