Born in Madrid, Diego moved to Canada in 2009. He graduated from the Media Arts program at Sheridan College in 2015 with a focus on cinematography. That same year he won the CSC award for outstanding cinematography on a student film. After leaving the school he made his way up the camera department to finally work solely as a cinematographer in 2018.
Early on he understood the importance and power of images in storytelling, making visual language the cornerstone of any Project. Taking photographs while traveling has become his favorite way of exploring new ways of capturing emotions and studying new cultures to create a better understanding of different sensitivities and developing a better eye truer- to-himself.
