Mariano was born in Argentina, he started to work as an electrician in films and advertising, then he became Gaffer, in those years he had the chance to work with a lot of different cinematographers from all over the world learning different styles.

In the year 2013, Mariano started to work as a cinematographer mostly in commercials and music videos around the world.

His influence is painters as Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Hopper, and photographers as Erwin Olaf, Fred Herzog, Martin Parr, William Eggleston for naming some.

He loves to light in a very naturalistic way without loose the stylized and trying all the time to be original and risky.
